Necesitamos comenzar nuestro viaje en Rustboro. Siga las flechas en los mapas a continuación
Al final de la segunda flecha, necesitamos ingresar al hoyo. Allí encontraremos a NPC Marcus. Nos preguntará de mala gana por qué vinimos aquí:
- Marcus: Hello Player, what brings you here?
- Player: mission
- Marcus: You are not worthy for my mission, so I cannot give you any mission.
- Player: worthy
- Marcus: To show that you are worthy for this mission, you need to...
- Marcus: Defeat 20 Aerodactyl, 30 Omastar, 30 Kabutops, 50 Cradily and 50 Armaldo.
- Marcus: OR bring me 10 Aerodactyl's wing, 30 Aerodactyl's tail and 5 stone plate.
- Marcus: Can you do it?
- Player: yes
Como resultado, debemos elegir cómo haremos la búsqueda, la primera forma es matar 20 Aerodactyls, 30 Omastars, 30 Kabutopses, 50 Cradily y 50 Armaldo, o llevarle 20 Aerodactyl's wing, 30 Aerodactyl's tail y 5 Stone Plate.
Cuando terminemos las tareas o traigamos los elementos que Marcus necesitaba, debemos responderle y escribir:
- Marcus: Hello Lord Sqnik, what brings you here?
- Player: mission
- Marcus: You are not worthy for my mission, so I cannot give you any mission.Lord Sqnik [208]: worthy
- Marcus: You already started this test, if you are ready to report it just say so!
- Marcus: You can also say repeat if you forgot what I said before...
- Player: report
- Marcus: Did you defeat enough Pokemon or brought me the items I asked?
- Player: yes
- Marcus: Awesome! You are now allowed to pass through the door, but be careful you will find there dangerous Pokemon such as Rampardos.
- Marcus: I have a mission related to Rampardos...

- Marcus: As I said before, Rampardos is a dangerous Pokemon...
- Marcus: Long time ago group of Rampardoses invaded my museum and stole a replica of skull fossil.
- Marcus: If you can get it back for me, I will give you a real skull fossil which can transform into Cranidos, of course with special conditions, but this is a secret...
- Marcus: Can you do it?
- Player: yes
- Marcus: Great, please report back to me when you got the fossil.
Desde ahora tenemos acceso al engendro de Rampardos. Uno de los rampardos puede dejar caer Replic of Skull Fossil. Necesitamos respaldarlo con Marcus y recibir un verdadero Skull Fossil por ello. Desde ahora nuestro personaje inicia el temporizador. Debes pasar 24 horas una vez con Skull Fossil en tu bolso. Después de ese tiempo de Fossil recibirás Cranidos [10].
